As its name suggests Palm Cove is a palm tree lined cove that stretches 1.5 kilometres and is ideally situated between Port Douglas and Cairns.

Palm Cove is a sophisticated village overlooking the beauty of the Coral Sea and is embraced by the warmth of the tropical north which sees tourists flock from interstate and from around the world to enjoy its magnificent weather.

This luxurious and tranquil destination is surrounded by tourist attractions and beaches recognised the world over for their environmental importance including the World Heritage Listed Daintree Rainforest, Great Barrier Reef, Mossman Gorge and Cape Tribulation.

As a result there is always something to do at Palm Cove including day trips to any of the previously mentioned natural wonders as well as horse riding, quad biking, white-water rafting, sky diving, luxury boat charter and scenic helicopter flights. There are also several golf courses in the area.

Palm Cove is also well known for its dining options and boutique shopping. Lining the esplanade you will find various fine dining restaurants, cafes and bar with many offering stunning ocean views. If you would like to self-cater yourself there are many shaded grassy areas along the esplanade perfect for walks and picnics.

If you can't resist a little retail therapy there are numerous outlets to explore with some specialising in beach and resort wear.
